Here at the Training Yard, when we say we train, we train!  Our goal is to make you stronger, faster, and more agile, safely.

Every workout is different than the previous workout, and very rarely will we do the same workout twice.   Participants come in all shapes and sizes from juniors and seniors to professional athletes.

Workouts are different from day to day, but they are all rooted in full body movements using calisthenics and strength training as our base.

Our results speak for themselves and do not require much advertising.

Here’s what to expect at a typical workout:

  • Arrive a few minutes early to stretch
  • The trainer explains the workout, demonstrates the exercises, and answers any questions.
  • Ready, set, go!
  • Most workouts are maximum effort while maintaining proper technique.
  • When you are finished, feel free to use the cold shower out back

We utilize numerous different techniques and equipment to make sure that each workout is challenging and safe.  Workouts will usually contain some of the following:  kettlebells, barbells, dumbbells, body-weight exercises, rings, rowers, medicine balls, sledgehammers, sleds, and more.

The one thing that really sets these workouts apart is the people that you will be working out with.  We are thrilled to have such a great core group of individuals who workout several times a week.  You will be challenged but you will always be supported and encouraged as well.
